Well, if you have, you are not alone. From pizzas and burgers to lasagne and garlic bread, Italian delicacies are full of this mouth watering and soul satisfying ingredient– Cheese.
But getting these delights when you are on a tight budget is simply impossible. But who says that you can’t satisfy your cravings while being budget conscious. And so, for the third edition of series ‘Best thing I ate this week under Rs 100‘, we will take you on a trip to have the best cheesy dish in under Rs 100 – Baked Cheesy Fries.
How I get there: If wine is the drink of the Gods, then cheese must surely be the food that they eat. It’s soft, it’s moist, it’s gooey and it’s good. It’s something that melts in the mouth and leaves a lasting impact not just on your taste buds but also on your soul. There’s something oddly satisfying about it and needless to say that it’s too good to resist. Well, since I was on a tight budget, my quest for having a tasty cheesy delight took me to a tiny shop in the Godavari Market of Noida’s Sector 37.

About the place: It’s not a big branded restaurant nor does it have an elaborate seating arrangement. Just a couple of large standing tables on which you can place your order and munch in.

What I ate: Since I was craving for something overloaded with cheese and I was on a tight budget, I ordered cheesy baked fries and I must admit the dish was an absolute delight! French fries are a cliched dish and no one has truly been able to do something creative with it until now. Love cheese? Well, do stop here for a quick bite. FYI, if you are willing to go a little beyond your budget, this place serves some really cool sandwiches in just Rs 150.
