1. Creme Brulee from France
A perfect amalgamation of thick custard topped with a layer of crunchy caramel or Creme Brulee is an ideal dessert for winters

2. Sachertorte from Austria

Invented by Franz Sacher in 1932,  sachertorte is a type of chocolate cake. Though the original recipe is known only to the bakers at the Hotel Sacher in Vienna, here’s a version of it.

3. Tarta de Santiago from Spain

This Spanish almond cake is not only rich in taste but has a balanced flavour of well-baked almonds and sponge.

4. Canadian Nanaimo Bars from Canada

Nanaimo bars is one of the easiest desserts to make at home. It doesn’t require any baking. The wafer crumb crust is layered with custard-flavoured butter icing and is topped with melting chocolate.

5. Dadar Gulung from Indonesia

It is a green pancake roll, made from the pandanus leaves that are rolled and then filled with coconut sugar.
