VVIP high-handedness continues: Now TMC MP Dola Sen creates ruckus in Air India flight at Delhi

The incident happened just an hour after Air India revoked ban on Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad

In yet another instance of VVIP high-handedness , Trinmaool Congress MP Dola Den created ruckus in Kolkata bound Air India flight at Delhi airport. The Rajya Sabha MP reportedly refused to follow security protocols which resulted in a flight delay of 30 minutes. Sen refused to listen Air India officials’ plea to shift his mother’s seat from the emergency exit. The incident happened on a day whenAir India revoked flying ban on Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad following a letter by civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju To Air India.

Earlier, Gaikwad wrote to the ministry and expressed regret over the incident , however, he was categorical in his criticism against Air India and demanded action against him. Gaikwad has earlier boasted that he kicked the Air India official 25 times with his slipper for what he called unfriendly behaviour.

The national carrier also got the support of private airlines in blacklisting Mr Gaikwad. This morning, Air India said it had cancelled tickets booked by Mr Gaikwad for later this month.
