Takaram Pario replaced Pema Khandu and was appointed as Arunachal Pradesh's new CM on Friday afternoon

The PPA( people’s party of Arunachal ) has suspended Chief Minister Pema Khandu, the Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and five other party MLAs from the party. The decision was declared at 2 pm on Friday. The party decided to replace Takaram Pario alias Takam, who was declared as one of the richest MLA in Arunachal Pradesh after he showed assets worth Rs 187 crore, as its leader in the assembly to be the next Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, as per sources.

Five things about Arunachal Pradesh new CM

41 years old Takam Pario is the son of Late Takam Mangha , he belongs from the Village Sangram (Dokio Langpo), P.O. Palin P.S. Sangram, Dist. Kurung Kumey of  Arunachal  Pradesh. He was elected in 2014 Palin assembly.

During  2014 election he declared his assets( both movable and unmovable) to be of Rs 1,87,56,08,255 Cr, making him the richest MLA of Arunachal Pradesh.

Pario was holding the PHED (Public Health Engineering Department) ministry in Prema Khandu’s government.

He Passed his secondary school in 1991 from Govt. Secondary School, New Palin.

He has three cognizable cases registered against his name.
