Karnataka Minister Throws Sports Kits At Athletes At An Event To Honour Them

The lawmaker has drawn sharp criticism on social media for his high-handedness.

Karnataka Revenue Minister RV Deshpande was caught on camera throwing sports kits at athletes at an event
organised to honour them. The Congress MLA was at the state’s Karwar district to inaugurate an indoor stadium and felicitate sportspersons who had excelled at the district, state and national levels, ANI reported. But instead of handing the kits out, he threw them from the stage at athletes who were in the audience. Deshpande, who was in his home constituency , was apparently in a hurry to go somewhere.The lawmaker has drawn sharp criticism on social media for his high-handedness.

Now it’s the time of people to throw away these people from power!!! This guy lacks the basic decency!!!_

Another Karnataka minister threw biscuits to flood victims similar way. Is it the practice of Karnataka ministers to throw foods,sports kits to the recipients ?

Deshpande was also criticised by Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who called his actions “unacceptable.”
