Assistant Sub-Inspector Yashodha found the monkey near a temple where it had fallen on the ground after getting electrocuted

A lady cop from Karnataka’s Kalburgi is winning hearts for saving the life of an injured monkey and giving it shelter.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Yashodha found the monkey near a temple where it had fallen on the ground after getting electrocuted.

“I was on my way to get some medicine near Yellamma temple where I saw a crowd of onlookers. When I went to see what had happened, I saw a monkey fallen on the ground after being electrocuted.” she told ANI.

Seeing monkey’s poor condition, Yashodha was overwhelmed. She asked other people to help her take the monkey to hopsital but no one came forward. With no help from onlookers, Yashodha herself stepped up and took the primate home for first aid and and then to a veterinary hospital.

Speaking with the news agency, a veterinary doctor from the hospital said, a few day back, ASI Yasodha brought the monkey to the hospital with serious injuries apparently from an electric shock. The lady cop is now taking very good care of the animal and its conditions has drastically improved.

Now the little monkey lives with the lady cop who is ‘treating the monkey as one of her kids’

“A Human being can speak and share his pain but an animal cannot do so.I want to request everyone that we should all love birds and animals, said a smiling Yashodha.
