#CBSE10THResult2018: This Year, Differently-Abled Kids Shine With 92.55 Pass Percentage

Out of the total 3,760 students who took the exams, about 3,480 students have cleared it

CBSE Class 10 students are going through what their Class 12 seniors went through last week. The bane of their results being announced. What comes as an interesting revelation is that differently-abled kids have cleared the examination with a pass percentage of 92.55.

Out of the total 3,760 students who took the exams, about 3,480 students have cleared the exam. The toppers among the differently-abled kids are Anushka Panda with 489 marks from Suncity school in Gurgaon, Sanya Gandhi with 489 marks from Uttam school in Ghaziabad and Somya Deep Pradhan with 484 marks from JNV Dhanpur in Orissa, India Today reported.

While Panda secured the first rank in the category, Pradhan secured the second position. Around 135 candidates scored marks above 90 per cent while 21 candidates scored above 95 per cent.

The board has also declared the country’s toppers for the year 2018 with 86.70 as the pass percentage. Anushka Panda, who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, never let it come in the way of her road to success.

“I was consistent in my preparation from Day 1 itself. I would like to thank my school which has been extremely supportive. Since I am a special child, my school ensured that I was provided with a special infrastructure to write my examination,” Panda told India Today. Panda loves playing chess and aspires to be a software engineer.
