On the work front, Mouni is busy shooting for her Bollywood debut film titled Gold opposite Akshay Kumar. Helmed by Reema Kagti, the upcoming film is a based on the life of hockey player Balbir Singh, who won the first Olympic medal for India as a free nation in 1948 at the 14th Olympic Games at London. Gold is slated to release on Independence Day, 2018.
