Mouni Roy is one of the leading ladies of Hindi television. The actress, who is currently seen as Shivangi in Colors TV show, Naagin, is more popular for her social media posts. The actress enjoys a following of 4.2 million fans on Instagram. Speculations were even rife that Mouni Roy is son going to debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan. But the reason for her being in news currently is something else.

Mouni Roy is very active on Instagram. She keeps giving the glimpses of her next episode from Naagin. However, her latest Instagram post has something special. The latest photo that Mouni has posted has her playing with two babies. These baby girls are actor Karanvir Bohra’s little daughters. Karan who is playing the male lead opposite Mouni in the show became father to twin girls last year. Since then, their outing on the sets of Naagin is quite regular and Mouni doesn’t miss any chance to play with these little munchkins.

So I wake up on my second day in Bombay and wonder, ‘What does a baby do around here?’ All the people I know are in Canada. I guess I better go meet some new people. 🙂 So I head over to my Daddy’s shoot. He does a show about snakes. But I didn’t see any. It’s good because I’m scared of snakes! I met Mouni Masi. 🙂 She’s really nice. And really pretty. She sings me songs in Bengali. 🙂 She says she will teach me Bengali. Mouni Maashi. See? I’m learning already! 🙂 It was really hot today. My maashi got me AC cooler so I would be comfortable. It’s great being a baby. Everyone takes care of me. 🙂 Still, it’s a little too warm. And I’m tired. I better go home before I start crying. If I make too much noise, the snakes might come out. I’ll see you again soon @imouniroy! There. I met one new person today. 🙂

Today I met my Surbhi Masi for the first time. 🙂 It didn’t feel like it though. It felt like I was coming home. 🙂 Maybe it’s because she loved me from before I was born. We already had a connection. 🙂 Before today, we only saw each other on whatsapp. She wanted to come see me last week but I fell asleep! I forgot babies get jet-lagged, too. 🙂 So today I finally made a plan. I came to set to say sorry and give her a hug. 🙂 OK Masi, I’m done. Now I should get going. I still have to meet Chandu Masi. And you have to shoot. If you get late, the production people will blame me. They will say the baby is distracting you. So you get back to work. I’ll see you at my house in a few days. And I’ll stay awake this time! Haha! 🙂 @surbhijyoti

Visiting this set was like a thunderbolt of a memory jolt. #Nonu loved the set, she seemed so comfortable and at home, in literall sense too.coz masi @surbhijyoti and @officialsurbhic were fighting over her, but sorry chandu she seemed at home with Jyoti Love you all you girls…..

I love mornings like this! 🙂 Since last October, every morning has been like this – pure joy. 🙂 I wake up, I feed and change a baby, I put her to sleep. Then I do the same for the other baby. But before putting them down, I do my morning mediation with each one. For twenty minutes, I do deep breathing and imagine white light flowing into me and my child. I imagine every little baby part of hers being healed. I imagine God’s love flowing into her little heart, so that she can give love to whoever needs it during the day. 🙂 After our meditation, I find the babies sleep so peacefully. And they remain peaceful throughout the day. When they’re old enough, I’ll teach them to meditate on their own, but for now, it’ll be a little group activity. 🙂 Time for them to get back to sleep, and for me to get up!! 🙂 Haha! #twincesses

I used to reach down to hold her hand. Now she can reach up to hold mine! 🙂 Actually these #twincesses are ready to grab anything they can get their cute little hands on! 🙂 My, how time flies! One baby can take steps now, one can crawl, one tries to form words, one can say ‘Mummy.’ I am amazed at how much they have learned in such a short time! Everyone tells me children grow so fast, and it’s true – it’s already happening too quickly! Please babies, slow down, won’t you? 🙂 I guess you are so curious about the world that you’re going full steam ahead! Haha! It’s okay. If that’s your wish, then I pray God is with you at each little baby step you take. Happy half-year birthday to you, my angels. You have brought so much joy to this world, and to our hearts. 🙂 🙂

@min_sidhu Happiest birthday in the world to a wonderful brother and an even better Mama-ji! 🙂 I love this photo – it was the first time this little muppet stepped out to see the world in her harness. 🙂 At first she just hung there and looked at you – so small and cute and trusting. 🙂 Then she got so comfortable she passed out!! Me and my sunshine girl, enjoying the outdoors on #EarthDay. (Her sister was sleeping, as usual!) 🙂 She loves sitting in the sunshine and watching people go by. She loves giving ‘go away’ looks to the neighbour’s dog (not knowing that he is much bigger than her!) She loves thinking her own thoughts but still being in the comfort and safety of my lap. 🙂 I love watching the different expressions that cross her face when we sit out here. 🙂 And one day, when she can walk, we’ll plant flowers, play on the grass and chase ladybugs together. But for now, we’ll just sit in quiet reflection and enjoy this beautiful day. 🙂

Yay!! My baby’s first trip to the bookstore! 🙂 She looked around so curiously, and wanted to touch everything! Haha! I let her instinctively choose a book and she picked one called, ‘God’s Dream.’ It was about how God wanted all children to treat each other like brothers and sisters, even if they all lived in different countries and had different Mommies and Daddies. 🙂 The first page said, ‘Dear child, what do you dream about in your loveliest of dreams?’ 🙂 Such a sweet verse! It made me smile. 🙂 It warmed my heart to see my baby loving books as much as I do. 🙂 I can’t wait to start building their little library! 🙂 Next time – Shakespeare! 😉
