Khatron Ke Khiladi boasts of celebrity contestants like Nia Sharma, Ravi Dubey, Rithwik Dhanjani and others, who perform death-defying stunts on TV

Popular stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 has emerged as the most watched show on television. Hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, KKK has managed to beat seasoned shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.

Boasting an ensemble contestant lineup of Geeta Phogat, Hina Khan, Lopamudra Raut, Rithwik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi, Ravi Dubey and others, KKK 8‘s popularity can be gauged from its ability to engage the viewers with death-defying stunt tasks. The occasional banter between Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma, as well as Rithwik Dhanjani’s mimicry only adds to the entertainment value of the show.

The tasks are really engaging and seem to have struck the right chord with the viewers. Following Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 is Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs. The latter intended to showcase the talent of children between 5 and 14 years of age. Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar and Javed Ali are mentors on the show.

It narrates the story of Jethalal Gada (Dilip Joshi) and his family who stay in Gokuldham Society in Mumbai. The show has gained a cult status over the years and its fan base only seems to increase.

The other two shows in the Top 5 list are Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya.
