Shilpa Shinde, who rose to fame with her role of Anguri bhabhi in famous show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, broke her her silence on being a part of Bigg Boss 11. Though the final list of contestants on the upcoming TV reality show has not yet been confirmed yet, several names of celebrities have already doing rounds. In a recent development, actress Shilpa Shinde was reported to have been approached for the Salman Khan show, however, the actress refuted the rumours.

Talking about being a part of the eleventh season of Bigg Boss, the actress told an entertainment portal: “These reports are just rumors, I am not interested in it (Bigg Boss)”.

Reports also suggested that Shilpa had demanded Rs 4 lakh per episode for the show, but the actress revealed that the reports were baseless. She added: “They had approached me a long time ago but I had clearly said no.”

Shilpa shocked everyone when she quit Life Ok’s show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!. She grabbed headlines when she filed a case against the show’s producer Sanjay Kohli and alleged that Sanjay had asked her for sexual favours. The actress also alleged that he had touched her inappropriately.

Apart from Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, Shinde has also acted in the serials like Miss India, Hatim and Sanjeevani. She has also acted in two Telugu films-Dasari Narayana Rao’s Chhina and Suresh Verma’s Shivani.

Meanwhile, celebrities including Nia Sharma, Abhishek Malik, Nikitin Dheer Nandish Sandhu, Kunal Verma, Summit Bhardwaj, Gauri Arora, Bhojpuri actress Rani Chatterjee and Kasautii Zindagii Kay fame Cezanne Khan are also rumoured to be participating on the show.

To be hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 11 will air on Colors TV from October 1.
