Ajay Devgn to bring Baba Ramdev’s life on TV. Read details

Ajay Devgn is all set to bring yoga guru Baba Ramdev's life on the small screen. The show has been reportedly titled Baba Ramdev: The Untold Story

Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in his directorial Shivaay is now all set to bring yoga guru Ramdev’s life on the small screen. According to reports, Ajay is in talks with filmmaker Abhinav Kohli for making a television show based on the life of Baba Ramdev. The shooting of the show is likely to go on floors by the end of this year. According to a leading daily report, the film will trace the journey of Ramdev and his partner Balakrishna. Reportedly titled Baba Ramdev: The Untold Story, the biopic, will not be a feature film but a TV series.

Earlier it was reported that television and Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey is going to essay the role of Baba Ramdev, however, the Balika Vadhu fame turned down the offer. Talking about the same Vikrant said: “Yes I had started prep but have since opted out for personal reasons. I wish the team luck.”

So, as the actor stepped out from the show, it will be interesting to watch who will essay the role of Ramdev in the upcoming television series.

On the work front, Devgn was last seen in Shivaay. Directed by Ajay, the film garnered great response at the Box Office. Released in Diwali, the film crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the Bpx Office.

As of now, he is gearing up for his next Baadshaho. With Baadshaho, the team of Ajay, Emraan and filmmaker Milan Luthria will return to the silver screen after a gap of seven years since the release of Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.

Baadshaho also features Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal among others. Slated to release on  1 September, Baadshaho is an action film. In the film, Ajay will be seen in a totally different avatar.
