Watch: Mohanlal gives tribute to Indian Army in short film Amar Jawan Amar Bharath

Mohanlal teamed up with director Major Ravi to make a short film that gives tribute to the Indian soldiers who selflessly work to protect the nation

Malayalam actor Mohanlal and director Major Ravi have teamed up for a short film, which is a tribute to the Indian Army. The five-minute and fourteen-second long video, titled Amar Jawan Amar Bharath was launched by Honorable Central Minister Sri Rajiv Pratap Rudy in New Delhi on Thursday night. Directed by Vishnu Mohan, the film has been produced under the banner of ASADI (Asian School Of ARCHITECTURE), Cochin.

The film stars Anusree Nair, Anjali Nair, Thasveer Muhammed and Kiran Aravindakshan. The film also shows tribute message from Major Ravi and Mohanlal to Indian Army.

Major Ravi said:

This film is a tribute to the soldiers, whosoever is in uniform and ready to and die for the country. Whosoever is doing something for the country, this film is for those people who is there for us, because of whom we are sleeping in peace.

Mohanlal, who himself owns a Lt.Colonel recognition said

This salute was not from a small group, but from the whole Indian public. We, the army people salute the nation for the respect which you give us

The film also stars Norbu, Pema, Ajith Singh Chandigarh, Shine Ramabhadran, Thariyan Joseph, Master Aadi Dev and Master Kris Sebastian.
