Sonam’s Neerja won the Best Film award (Hindi), while Akshay Kumar received the Best Actor for his film Rustom. Currently, Sonam and Akshay are shooting in Maheshvar for their upcoming film Padman. This Twinkle Khanna production film is based on the story of the social activist from Tamil Nadu — Arunachalam Muruganantham, who brought the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkin machine.
