Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi: When Mata Sherawali Beat The Crap Out Of Undertaker

It's a cringefest like many movies from that time. But it serves a good dollop of nostalgia of when we thought WWF was real, and Bollywood was good.

Akshay Kumar’s Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi has been memorable for more than one reason. The ultimate femme fatale that was Madam Maya, the #foodporn moment between Rekha and Akshay Kumar during the song ‘In the night no control’ (not kidding). And scenes with WWF star Crush & a poor man’s Undertaker.

But the film’s most powerful scene comes in the climax. When Mata Sherawali comes to the aid of the hero during his fight with the fake Undertaker.

Oh and lest we forget how just before that fight – the two sides repeatedly say Jai Mata Di/Jai Maya Ki. It’s a cringefest like many movies from that time. But it serves a good dollop of nostalgia of the time. When we thought WWF was real, and Bollywood was good.
