Watch: This behind the scenes video of Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s Tamma Tamma Again shows filming it wasn’t easy

Varun Dhawan and Aia Bhatt put in a lot of effort for the song Tamma Tamma Again. This behind the scenes video is a proof

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are pairing on-screen for the third time in Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The film has been the talking topic of tabloids, and its song Tamma Tamma Again is making the most to the headlines. The song, a  recreation of the 90’s hit number of the same name, became a rage when it was released a few days ago.

Chances are the song will become a party number but do you know about the effort the team put in to make this possible?  Maybe, not. Which is why the makers released a behind-the-scenes video that tells all about the effort.

The song was choreographed by Bosco and he told all that he kept in mind during the filming. He said Tamma Tamma Again is a tribute to the original song. The video also shows the relentless rehearsals the actors did to perfect the steps. During the video, when Varun Dhawan addressed Alia to say she was stepping into Madhuri Dixit’s shoes, the latter was quick to deny it. Alia said she would never think of doing so.

Apart from the choreographers and actors, the art direction team did various things to make the video lively. The video also nestles the popular Mannequin Challenge and filming it perfectly was another challenge altogether.

Tamma Tamma Again struck a chord with cine buffs and got an approval from Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit as well. Both the film stars urged the fans to give the recreated version the same love as they gave their song.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is the second instalment of the rom-com series. The first film- Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was loved by viewers and also got thumbs up from critics. Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, the film will release on 10 March. Trade pundits are expecting the film will see a bumper opening at the Box Office.
