The most ridiculous tweet of 2018 is here, courtesy Amitabh Bachchan

Someone seriously needs to tell Amitabh Bachchan to keep calm and take a chill pill

Amitabh Bachchan has a strange fascination with Twitter but his tweets are growing weirder by the day. In his latest tweet, late last night, the star ‘threatened’ that he would quit the micro-blogging site. Reason? Twitter reduced his number of followers. If that doesn’t sound juvenile enough, you must read the actual tweet :

T 2599 – TWITTER ..!!!?? you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! thats a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride .. .. there are many ‘other’ fish in the sea – and a lot more exciting !! pic.twitter.com/85c15pDif4

As part of the crackdown on social media trolls, fake accounts and people who’ve been buying followers, Twitter has been deleting accounts. This pretty much explains what must have happened with Amitabh Bachchan’s and his followers’ accounts.

It was only last week that the actor crossed the 33 million mark. With Twitter deleting bulk accounts, Amitabh Bachchan now ranks second in the ‘most followed’ list of Bollywood actor on Twitter with 32,901,188 followers. Shah Rukh Khan is currently the most followed Bollywood star on Twitter with 32,938,804 followers.

Meanwhile, AB’s tweet witnessed mixed reactions on Twitter:

Yes,that too of huge nos. Near about 2lacs. Last week we celebrated 33 Million and today evening found its 32.8 and now 32.9. Really strange

More than followers, you lost respect. #BDS

That happens because of bulk followers . Some dead accounts might be removed . It happens then… not to worry Sir 🙂
