SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 to release in China in July. Will Prabhas starrer break the collection record of Aamir Khan’s Dangal?

After the phenomenal success of Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, now SS Rajamouli is gearing up for the release of his magnum opus Baahubali 2 in China. The film has taken the Indian Box-Office by storm by earning over Rs 1,ooo crore. The film is now inching towards Rs 2,000 crore in the global market. Released in India on 28 April, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is now all set to hit the screens in China in July.

According to a leading daily report, Kishore Kedari of Arka Media Works said, “It will be the next Indian film after Dangal to release in China, and we are excited about its possibilities. Dangal has done record business in China and its exemplary response has upped the quotient for Indian films.”

The film’s first part Baahubali: The Beginning released in over 6000 screens in China. For its second instalment, the makers are planning to release the film on a very grand scale. The expectation are already high as Dangal has seen monumental success in China, so it won’t be wrong to say that one can look forward to Baahubali 2 making a big impression there. It will be interesting to see if Baahubali 2, will be able to beat the Dangal Box- Office collection in China or not, well only time will tell.

The Hindi version of the film, released under the banner of Dharma Productions owned by Karan Johar, has collected more than Rs 500 crore.  Baahubali2 released in over 6500 screens across India, and in 9000 plus screens worldwide.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali 2 features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s Dangal has created an unrepresented landmark in China by becoming the 33rd film in Chinese cinema history to cross Rs 1000 crore mark. Featuring Aamir in the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat traces the real-life journey of Phogat sisters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat.
