Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, who made their Bollywood debut with Ishaqzaade five years back, are reuniting for Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. This Dibakar Banerjee’s directorial is a thriller drama, in which Arjun will be seen essaying the role of a Haryanvi cop. However, Parineeti’s role in the film has not been revealed yet.

Recently, Arjun Kapoor took to Twitter to reveal his look in the film. Dressed as a cop, the Mubarakan actor looked intense in the close-up shot. Interestingly, the first look also revealed Arjun’s name as Satinder Dahiya in the film.

Sharing the picture in Twitter, Arjun wrote:

According to an announcement made by YRF, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar ‘is the story of a man and a woman who represent two completely different Indians. They are united in one thing only. Their mistrust, suspicion and hate for each other.’

Talking about the movie, director Dibakar added,

This feels like my first film, again. I’ve had to unlearn everything I know to tell this story about a man and a woman who can’t stand each other but can’t survive without each other either.

Earlier, confirming the news of Arjun and Parineeti’s next Bollywood outing, the official Twitter handle of YRF had posted a picture of the duo and wrote: “Ishaqzaade Duo Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra set to return in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar”
