Salman Khan’s Tubelight becomes first Bollywood film with its own emoji on Twitter

Going with Salman Khan's popularity and the film's craze among the people, Twitter introduced a special emoji which activates next to the Tubelight hashtag

The very first song of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Tubelight is just a few hours away from its release and his fans have already received a great surprise ahead of the song’s launch. Filmmaker Kabir Khan took to Twitter on Tuesday and shared that Tubelight has become the first Bollywood film to get its own Twitter emoji. yes, you heard that right.

It looks like, going with Salman Khan’s popularity and the film’s craze among the people, Twitter introduced a special emoji which activates next to the Tubelight hashtag the moment you use it while tweeting. As soon as the news broke, all the Salman Khan fans took to Twitter and started using the emoji with #TubelightKiEid.

The emoji shows Salman Khan in his iconic Tubelight pose, in which he can be seen saluting with boots hanging around his neck. Have a look:

While this is Salman Khan’s first film to get to a Twitter emoji, earlier his popular reality show Bigg Boss also had its own ‘eye’ emoji for season 10 of the show.

The Radio Song is the first song from the Salman Khan starrer and will be launched in Dubai today. The song will take you back to the 60s and is a celebratory song and has been shot with over 1000 dancers. Director Kabir Khan says that the role is something that the Dabangg star has never done before. He added: ”All I can say is that he is playing a very different character this time. It is a character that he has never played in his career so far. It is very challenging. When I had narrated him the character I had told him its extremely challenging and he had said he is up for the challenge.”

The film is slated to hit the screens on June 23 this year.
