Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra have teamed up for the first time for Ittefaq, a remake of Rajesh Khanna's film that released in 1969

Stars Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra have teamed up for the first time for Ittefaq. This film is a remake of the 1969 thriller of the same name starring Rajesh Khanna and Nanda. Directed by Yash Chopra, the film went on to be critically acclaimed and won many awards. However, the remake of the movie will have a different ending than the original film.

For those who have watched the 1969 movie Ittefaq would know how the film ended. For those who haven’t here is a spoiler. In the film, Rajesh Khanna was accused of killing his wife. In the end, it was revealed that Nanda was the husband-killer. Apart from having a mind-boggling plot, the film was not like any other Rajesh Khanna’s films. Like other films of the first superstar of the Bollywood, Ittefaq did not have any songs.

But the remake of the movie, directed by B.R. Chopra’s grandson Abhay Chopra, will have an alternate ending.
