Paparazzi, family pressure or make-up: Why did Virat Kohli remove his pic with Anushka Sharma?

Virat Kohli deleted the tweet of his candid picture with girlfriend Anushka Sharma on Valentine's Day. Why did he do this?

Team India skipper Virat Kohli instils fear among opposition whenever he comes out to bat in the middle. We don’t need to elaborate on the humongous stats in his CV. Because this is not what we are talking about. Off the field, he is a doting boyfriend to Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma. We have seen endless candid moments when the star couple spent together.

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the 28-year-old swashbuckler tweeted a picture of him with the Phillauri actor. He also posted a picture on Facebook as well. However, he deleted both the posts later. But the image is available on Instagram. But the question is: why did he do so? Here are five possible reasons which might have forced him to do so.

Crosshairs of paparazzis: In the age of social media, the privacy of celebs has become non-existent. Now that Kohli has posted a picture of him with his ladylove, it means overtime for lensmen also known as paparazzis. Fearing such an act had triggered danger for the celebrities, the Indian skipper might have been prompted to remove the lovely picture.

No snap without make-up: Really? Does pretty Anushka really need a make-up? But we should snatch away the right of a woman to look beautiful. So, Kohli might have upset his bae as she was not comfortable putting up the picture which would mean bad PR and nasty pieces from the fashion police.

Family pressure: This might be one of the reasons which might have forced Kohli to remove the tweet. In India, gossip mongers have a field day whenever such candid pictures involving someone from their families come to the fore. Either of the stars’ parents might have objected to such a public display of affection.

Commitment-phobic: Now, that is a controversial reason. While Kohli has been more or less vocal about his relationship with Anushka, the latter refrains from talking about her personal life. Whether the Sultan actor insisted that the picture be removed, we don’t know. All we can do is speculate.

Everyday is a valentine day if you want it to be. You make everyday seem like one for me . @anushkasharma

Fear of moral policing: We often hear couples being manhandled by the activists of Shiv Sena and Bajrang Dal on Valentine’s Day. Although nobody can dare harm them in public, but maybe the couple must have decided to escape the possible wrath of the social media.

Actual Reason why @imVkohli deleted this tweet with @AnushkaSharma
