Naam Shabana shows actress Taapsee Pannu throwing punches at the baddies and breaking their bones. While the film has managed to garner success at the Box Office in the weekend, it fails to make a mark on weekdays. Also starring Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpayee, the film released on 31 March.

The Shivam Nair directorial has seen a good growth in the last three days. It minted Rs 5.12 crore on Friday, Rs 6.37 crore on Saturday and Rs 7.27 crore on Sunday. But it shows a sudden decrease on Monday, with a collection of Rs 2.54 crore.

Naam Shabana, which has been released in 37 countries and over 354 screens worldwide minted Rs 1.58 crore on Thursday. Confirming the same trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and revealed the box office figures of the film.

Here’s a look at the detailed breakup of Naam Shabana‘s week 1 collections:

Based on Taapsee’s character in Neeraj Pandey’s 2015 action spy thriller film Baby, the film made a total amount of Rs 27.18 crore in Indian so far. Apart from its strong content, the film also captured Taapsee Pannu in her action avatar.

To get into the skin of her character, Taapsee not only joined kickboxing classes but also enrolled in other fitness sessions as well. After looking at the film’s growth at the box office, one thing is for sure that the Naam Shabana is here to stay, despite slow progress at the BO.

Here’s a look at Taran Adarsh’s tweets:

#NaamShabana has not been able to make a mark… Riding on high expectations, the biz grew over weekend, but was low on weekdays…
