Kiara Advani, who was seen in Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer MS Dhoni: An Untold Story, will share screen space with Shahid Kapoor for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming romantic flick. The film has been titled as Tuesdays and Fridays.
Shahid Kapoor is currently a part of Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati, which is going to release at the end of this year. He is sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
“Kiara has signed the three-film contract with SLB. The first film has been titled Tuesdays and Fridays which is a romantic comedy with lots of dance sequences,” a source belonging to the production house told DNA. Kiara was recently seen in Abbas-Mustan’s Machine which bombed at the box office.
It is unlikely that the film will begin this year as Bhansali is occupied with Padmavati. The historical epic has run into a lot of controversies even before its release. While shooting the film in Jaipur two months ago, Bhansali was manhandled by the activists of Karni Sena. The fringe outfit had claimed that the film involved a dream sequence between Delhi sultan Alauddin Khilji and Rani Padmini of Chittor.
Meanwhile, Shahid is currently busy spending time with his family. He has been sharing pictures of him with daughter Misha on social media.
