Karan Johar wants a rehab for selfie addicts and here’s why his advice should be taken seriously

Karan Johar took to Twitter to write why a rehabilitation centre for selfie addicts is the need of the hour and we think he is right

Karan Johar has said something about the addiction with selfies and it totally makes sense. The acclaimed filmmaker took to Twitter to write how to get rid of the addiction of selfie a rehab centre is required. It cannot be denied that Karan Johar himself seems addicted with the selfie culture as his social media profiles are filled with his pictures, most of them having his pout. Karan Johar has said this a number of times that he feels his pout is the best part of his body.

Well, now Karan Johar has addressed the larger problem and we really think selfie addicts need a rehab centre. According to a report, 76 people died in India taking selfies. The number of deaths caused by taking selfies in 2016 amounted to 127, meaning that India had the greatest number of deaths. The incidents which led to people losing their lives because of this included incidents when someone tried to take a selfie in front of an oncoming train, or when a boat tipped over or when falling off a cliff in lieu of a click. Research also found out that men have an inclination to click dangerous selfies.

Considering how dangerous selfies can get, maybe a selfie rehab is what is needed. Here is Karan Johar’s tweet on the selfie addiction:

Dear Selfie….you were a feature but now you are a creature.. we have been attacked by you! Help! Is there a rehab for selfie addicts??

After KJo put out the tweet, netizens came up with reactions. Few said he should switch to a normal phone to make his life simpler. It cannot be denied that the days’ which had less technological influence were simpler. And guess Karan Johar has understood it.
