Kamaal R Khan apologises for negative review as Baahubali 2 zooms towards Rs 1500 crore at Box Office

Kamaal R Khan has apologised for his negative review of SS Rajamouli's Bahubali 2, which has become a blockbuster

Kamaal R Khan’s Twitter bio proudly mentions Actor, Producer, and Critic. The Deshdrohi-fame filmmaker is often in the news for all the wrong reasons. Whether they are his sexist tweets on Bollywood actresses or ‘judgemental’ posts on filmmaker’s acumen, he is more hated than loved on social media. Recently, he has apologised for writing off SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2.

“I m very sorry for my wrong review of #Baahubali2! I didn’t like it but ppl like it n Janta Ki Awaaz means Nakkare Khuda. Sorry @ssrajamouli,” he posted. It is another fact that his apology has come very late, especially after Baahubali 2 is inching closer to garnering Rs 1,500 crore mark in terms of worldwide collections. After having realised that he had actually stepped on a sharp axe, he had no option but to retract from the disparaging claims he had made about the Prabhas-Anushka Shetty starrer.

It is not the first time when Kamaal R Khan has drawn flak for a statement. Most of the people from the film industry have either blocked him on Twitter or pay no attention to his posts that are often demeaning in nature. He was recently trolled for calling Rana Daggubati an ‘idiot’.

I never followed this idiot neither tweeted about him till date. Still he blocked me to prove that he is brainless. pic.twitter.com/W93uhUOPuo

Plus, he did not spare the historical fictional epic’s lead actor Prabhas as well. See the offensive tweet he posted against the actor.

See @Me_Prabhas has got 88 thousand n @RanaDaggubati has got 2.6 million followers means these both Lukkhas are not equal to #TheBrandKRK!

Released on April 28, Baahubali: The Conclusion has shattered several records at the box office with the Hindi dubbed version having earned more than Rs 400 crore. In his movie review, KRK had slammed the film and had advised the viewers against ‘wasting their time’ in watching the film. Check out the video of his review.

How about a video apology for this KRK?
