After releasing the peppy number Tan Tana Tan from Varun Dhawan-starrer Judwaa 2, the makers have now put up another catchy number Ganpati Bappa Morya. Released on Thursday, August 31, the latest track features Varun Dhawan as Raja. In the sequel to 1997 release, he will be seen reprising Salman Khan’s double role of Prem and Raja. The video features Dhawan as a ‘tapori’ (Raja) and the actor seems to have pumped immense energy into the song. Be it his clothes or quirky dance moves, the Badrinath Ki Dulhania actor has taken the original Judwaa song to the next level.

Amid the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, the makers aptly released a perfect Ganeshotsav anthem of this year. Sung by Amit Mishra and composed by Sajid-Wajid, the song portrays Varun in a never-seen-before avatar. The song has been penned by Danish Sabri. The song beautifully depict’s Raja’s devotion to Lord Ganesha.

Apart from the catchy song, what grabbed our attention was Varun Dhawan’s dance steps which were similar to those of Salman Khan. In the song, he can be seen doing some really odd and funny dance moves which Salman usually used to perform in his films. Seems like the Gen X actor has paid tribute to the megastar, right?
