Isn’t Hrithik Roshan too old to romance 24-year-old Sara Ali Khan in a Karan Johar film?

Don't be surprised if this news turns up as a mere speculation tomorrow. Kaabil is approaching and Sara has been debuting in Bollywood since forever now.

As per the current buzz, Sara Ali Khan (she doesn’t need any introduction now after everything that has been speculated about her big debut) will be sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan in her first film.

According to a report in TOI, director Karan Malhotra, who has worked with Hrithik in Agneepath (2012), is all set to direct a comedy-drama soon. The report says that Karan Johar has already given his nod for the project and the work has started for it. In fact, the differences between Amrita Singh (Sara’s mother) and Johar have been sorted out, after which even she seems excited about the new film.

The report quotes a source confirming the news who said:

Sara is back onboard, but with a bigger and better project, after the differences (between Amrita Singh and Karan Johar) have been ironed out. She will be the leading lady of Karan Malhotra’s comedy film, a first-of-it’s-kind journey.

Interestingly, Johar was supposed to work with Karan Malhotra again in Shuddhi, which was slated to release in 2015. However, when earlier this year, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director announced that the film has been shelved, he promised that he will work out another new project with Malhotra soon.

This untitled project with Hrithik and Sara seems to be the same project. However, one wonders, why would Sara debut opposite Hrithik. No, not that Hrithik is not a talented actor but, 24-year-old Sara definitely deserves to be romantically paired with a much younger actor on screen.
