Did Vidya Balan really take a jibe at Kangana Ranaut with her latest Instagram post?

Vidya Balan took to Instagram to post a photo of her new credit card but the internet read between the lines and connected it with Kangana Ranaut

Vidya Balan is currently busy shooting for her next film Tumhari Sulu. Her last on-screen outing, Begum Jaan could not do well at Box Office but that of course, can’t deter Vidya to work hard on her next project. And she also knows how to remove that baggage of failure from her head in order to constantly keep moving for better. Her latest Instagram photo is probably a proof of the jovial personality that she has.

Vidya who’s not enough active on social media recently posted a photo on Instagram. There’s nothing special about the photo, except that it seems to be giving away more than it actually shows. In the picture, the actress is seen holding a credit card with the caption: “Who needs credit when your director gifts you this card? Thankoo Suresh Triveni.”

Now, all because the internet is full of people who love to read between the lines, this picture of Vidya also got scrutinised for its caption. People did not take long to find the connect of this photo with the latest Kangana Ranaut controversy. It is being said that Vidya indirectly took a jibe at Kangana Ranaut’s credit row with her post. In fact, as mentioned by a leading daily, the writer of Simran also replied to Vidya saying: “Before Vidya Balan could demand an ‘additional credit’ on her new film, her producer gave her this…Hilarious.”

Who needs credit when your director gifts you this card ?!! # Thankoo Suresh Triveni.

For the uninitiated ones, writer Apurva Asrani had claimed in her lengthy Facebook post that Kangana Ranaut demanded the co-writer’s credit for Hansal Mehta’s Simran. He had alleged that the director had come to him to request to give in the said credit to the actress. However, he refused and instead agreed on giving the credit of ‘addition story and dialogue writer’. When Kangana was asked to comment on the same, the Queen star, quite strongly, slammed the writer and said that he had, in fact, threatened her of generating another controversy on her name if she demands the co-writer’s credit.
