Badrinath Ki Dulhania Box Office collection Day 6: Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt’s film headed towards Rs 75 crore

With its really strong hold at the domestic box office, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has already made its place in the top 10 romantic entertainers list

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s latest release Badrinath Ki Dulhania is doing exceptionally well at the box office and the film is quickly approaching towards Rs 75 crore mark. Directed by Shashank Khaitan the film is the second installment of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and is being really appreciated by one and all.

This is for the third time that Varun and Alia have shared the screen space after SOTY and HSKD and their chemistry is making the audience fall in love with the duo. The film is not only ruling the domestic market but is also doing a great business overseas.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania released last week and has done a business of Rs 12.25 crore on Friday, Rs 14.75 crore on Saturday, Rs 16.05 on Sunday, Rs 12.08 on Monday, Rs 7.15 crore on Tuesday and Rs 5.95 on Wednesday, minting a total of Rs 68.23 crore so far.

With its really strong hold at the domestic box office, the film has already made its place in the top 10 romantic entertainers list. In fact, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is all set to cross the lifetime collections of the first installment HSKD within two or three days.

Till now Badri and his Dulhania had no competition, but with the release of Rajkumar Rao’s Trapped this Friday, it will be interesting to see how the film performs in its second week. After getting all the positive feedback for Badrinath Ki Dulhania, director Shashank Khaitan has also expressed his interest in making another installment in the franchise. While the story and cast are not yet finalised, we are really not sure if Varun and Alia will be a part of another ‘Dulhania’ flick.
