Deepika Padukone is now the most followed Bollywood actress on Instagram. The Bajirao Mastani actress has surpassed every A-list actress with 17.5 million followers on Instagram. The dimpled diva is closely followed by Priyanka Chopra, who boasts of 17.3 million followers on Instagram. Recently, Katrina Kaif also joined the social media bandwagon and has 2.4 million fans on the photo-blogging site.

Most of the tinsel town stars have their accounts on social media platforms and keep their fans updated. It has also become an effective promotional medium.

Deepika has been making her presence felt internationally. Recently, Deepika Padukone made her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, 2017 and received praises for her looks at the red carpet.

Earlier, Deepika Padukone marked her debut at the famed Met Gala fashion fiesta. She sported a simple white satin Tommy Hilfiger gown with more attention to detail on her ornate hair accessories.

She also bagged her share of fame in the international world with “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” earlier this year.
