Earlier, the exhibitors in Pakistan decided to lift the self-imposed ban on the screening of Indian films. As per the reports on Express Tribune, they termed it as merely a ‘suspension’ and not a ban, as there was no government intervention. The exhibitors decided to stop the screening of Indian films, following the ban on Pakistani artists working in India by the Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association (IMPPA).
