Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh wants Narendra Modi to name cows National Mother of India

Gurmeet Ram Rahim is throwing a big cow milk party to promote his film. Interestingly, his film has nothing to do with either cow or cow milk. His followers had organised a milk party a fortnight back in which BJP leaders like Manoj Tiwari, Vijay Goel and Anurag Thakur marked their presence.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh of MSG fame is throwing a cow milk party and everyone’s invited. Jattu Engineer’s Premiere has been organised with a twist by inviting his followers to a Mega Cow Milk Party. Interestingly, as far as the trailer of his film goes, it has nothing to do with either cow or cow milk. But for some reason, he wanted to highlight the importance of cows in our country seeking the tile of National Mother of India for the animal.  This at a time when we have no dearth of people who are already overzealous espousing this cause.

From his 20,000 odd followers to the press, Guruji has ensured that everyone comes to attend this cow milk party that is aimed at protecting cow from being slaughtered. An edition of the very same cow milk party was held at India Gate in Delhi a fortnight ago with prominent BJP leaders like Manoj Tiwari, Vijay Goel and Anurag Thakur attending the event.

From the cow milk party which was organised in Lucknow last year in October where a Muslim party leader urged his counterparts to quit the consumption of beef for the sake of peace to the Muslim wing of RSS deciding to serve cow milk sharbat at iftar parties, this party is here to stay. Perhaps RSS, Muslim Rashtriya Manch and Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh are borrowing a page from the Boston Tea Party and hoping to create a revolution in its disguise.

Akshay Bhola is a media manager for the event who went on to clarify the sole reason behind this event where Guruji’s followers were to gather, “The idea is to promote the film Jattu Engineer but also popularise cow milk. We want to make an appeal to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi if he can give the due recognition to the holy animal cow equivalent to the national animal if not more.” When asked for what exactly would this high honourable recognition be, he merely said, “Maybe something like the National Mother of India.”

“The aim is not to indulge in religious jingoism and instead look at the scientific benefits of consuming cow milk. Guruji holds the belief that why should any form of celebration be equated with the alcohol abuse and hopes to substitute alcohol with cow milk. The goal is to begin a trend where cocktail parties are replaced with cow milk parties, endorsing health and a positive image for our mother cow,” says Dr. Aditya Insaan who is a doctor at AIIMS and the official spokesperson of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. The screening will then be followed by a pledge to be taken by 20000 people present at the event to “Protect cows from killing.”

Guruji’s stance for the entire cow vigilante debate is still unknown, what his spokesperson has confirmed is that the Cow Milk Party is a part of the drive against alcoholism and drug abuse. Guruji is a staunch supporter of organic farming and the purity of dairy products which he believes will be the focal point in the development of the next generation. With glasses of milk, his followers are already in the game and superbly excited about the cow milk party.

While his spokesperson was unwilling to answer questions posed about cow vigilantism and the polarising debate on cow protection, Guruji himself was not available for comment. Circumventing the question on cow vigilantism, his spokesperson sent the reporter a bunch of links on the usefulness of cow milk and milk-products.

You can watch the trailer of his upcoming film, which has nothing to do with cows or cow milk.
