Salman Khan will play father to 13-year-old daughter in Remo D Souza's upcoming movie and he would also learn dance to perfect the role

Over the recent years, Salman Khan has played a simpleton with a golden heart (Bajrangi Bhaijaan), a wrestler (Sultan) and a soldier (in soon to be released Tubelight). After getting into the skin of an array of characters, Salman is now set to play a father to a 13-year-old daughter in an upcoming movie.

Divulging details about this project during a conversation to HT Brunch, Salman said the movie is a dance drama on the lines of Hollywood drama Step Up. The Bhaijaan of Bollywood said he would learn dancing for this and it definitely would be a painstaking task.

I’m going to be a properly trained dancer. You know how painful that is? But I’ve always believed that effortless hard work should be seen on-screen

Salman was quoted by the daily.

The yet-untitled project will be directed by Remo D’ Souza and a source close to Salman said the actor is putting in a lot of effort to perfect the role. The insider added Salman patiently listened to Remo and rehearsed the steps on his own. To discuss the project, the ace choreographer met Salman about an-year ago but the star didn’t have dates available so the movie got postponed.
