Here's why Sushant Singh Rajput-Parineeti Chopra's film 'Takadum' getting delayed

Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra's Takadum has been on news for a while but looks like there will be a lot of time before it goes on floors.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra teamed up for the second time in Takadum. Owing to the presence of these two, whose chemistry was very much appreciated in Shudh Desi Romance, this movie has been in news. Apart from them, the movie also has Irrfan Khan in a pivotal role. But looks like, it’s gonna be a long time before this movie finally goes on floors.

Reports in media have it that the entire cast of the film is keeping busy these days. As a result, the makers of the movie are left with no option but to postpone the movie by a year.sushant-singh-pareeniti-image-for-inuth

Sushant, who gave a blockbuster performance in M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story is said to have started prepping up for Chandamama Door Ke. This movie is expected to go on floors by May this year. Along with the shooting of CDK, Sushant will be busy promoting Raabta, a rom-com in which he romances Kriti Sanon.

Parineeti has recently wrapped up the shoot for Meri Pyaari Bindu opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She will also begin filming for Golmaal 4. Similar is the case with Irrfan Khan, who will soon begin the shooting of Hindu Medium.

Taking into account how busy the stars of the film are, it looks like that Takadum will commence shooting after a long time.

Directed by Homi Adajania, the film was said to be on similar lines to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. It was speculated that after ADHM, the makers decided to postpone the movie. Refuting these rumors, Homi said in a statement last year:

It’s nothing like that at all. We just felt that we needed to rework certain angles, mainly on the structure of the screenplay to improve it.

Well, now that the movie is stuck in the pipeline for some time now, it obviously gives makers ample time to mould the film the way they want.
