Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s war against corruption and black-money has created a severe cash crunch in the country. The condition is so severe that even on standing in long queues outside banks and ATMs for hours, people aren’t getting any cash.

While this has created a gigantic problem for local vendors, it has also provided a boom to the cashless economy. On one hand, the local markets look deserted as people have no cash to pay, on the other hand, sales on online shopping platforms are soaring. Another area that is witnessing immense popularity during the testing times of demonetisation is- online wallets. Apparently, PayTM has become India’s favourite platform to pay bills.

But in case you are new to the platform and don’t know how to go about using it, here’s a stepwise guide to using India’s wonder-wallet PayTM. But before you go on a shopping spree you need to make an account.
