This stunning 'model' has an Olympic medal to her name

Can you recognise her?

Here is a stunning model who has made the entire country proud. Not any small country, but a 1.25 billion strong country. How? Well, you may have heard about it that only two women got medals in Rio Olympics for India. Have you got it now?

She is not a model but equally good looking and charming. She is none other than badminton star PV Sindhu. The Olympic medalist was involved in a photo shoot with a magazine recently.

She faced the camera for the magazine called JFW for JFW Oct’16 Covershoot Video. She is on the cover of the magazine. And why not? After all, she salvaged country’s pride in Rio Olympics when nobody was bringing any medal. And, she is photogenic too.

During the shoot she was asked about her silver medal in Olympics. The humble star didn’t forget to mention her coach Pulela Gopichand’s hard work. She said they formed the strategy before the tournament, which paid of. She is said the three months preceding Rio Olympics were hard. But, she doesn’t mind it now. Great things are achieved only after hard work.

Nobody had expected that Sindhu will be the one to bring accolades for the country especially when her senior Saina Nehwal was also playing the tournaments. Saina herself had got an Olympic bronze in 2012 London Olympics. Hopes were that Saina Nehwal will bring the medal. But, unfortunately, she bowed out of the tournament due to injury. As the fans lost all hopes, Sindhu started playing really well. She defeated many high ranking players to reach the finals. She lost the finals to Spain’s Carolina Marin, but her efforts were really appreciated. Coach Gopichand said her best was still to come forward. This forces us to think that if she got a Olympics medal without being at her best, what would she do when she is at her best?
