Gambhir's captaincy in danger, Shah Rukh Khan hints of buying MS Dhoni in IPL 2018!

KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan is highly desperate to have MS Dhoni in his team and he is even ready to sell hi pyjamas to have him

Undoubtedly, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been the most successful cricketer of all the ten seasons of the Indian Premier League. Though he doesn’t hold the record of most runs or so, but the way he hs been playing till now is something remarkable and probably cannot be repeated by any other player. He is one of those players who remained in only one team until Chennai Super Kings (CSK) was banned for 2 years. He successfully led the yellow army of Chennai and won two IPL titles while the team under his leadership reached in 6 IPL finals in 8 seasons. From 2016, he has been a prominent player of Rising Pune Supergiant. However, he failed to do any marvel in the previous season and thus lost the captaincy to Steven Smith this year.

But what would happen in IPL 2018, is still a big question. The two banned franchise CSK and Rajasthan Royals will be back after 2 years of ban imposed due to corruption charges. While there is no clarity on the future participation of the Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiant. Now under such conditions, when all the players will be released by their respective franchisees and go through a fresh auction, it’s obvious that there’ll be a tight fight between all the teams to have Dhoni in their squad.

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner is also among those who would do anything to have MS on his side. In a recent interview given to a sports website, Shah Rukh said,”Yaar main toh usko apna pyjama bech ke bhi kharid lun, wo aaye toh auction mein(I’m even ready to sell my pyjama to buy Dhoni but only when he’s available in auctions).”

Well, this Mahi obsession is quite obvious and the reason is all understood. If players like Ravi Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane admit that they would have done anything that MS had asked them to do as a captain then SRK’s madness is totally fair!
