From one champion to another or lets say from the captain of the men’s cricket team to his female counterpart. Virat Kohli has sent a video message for Mithali Raj just ahead of the finals. Mithali Raj in all probability will be featuring in a world cup game for the last time. Recently, Virat Kohli led the Indian side to a handsome victory in West Indies apart from guiding the Indian team to the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy. This will be Mithali Raj’s second world cup final. India had made it to the finals of the 2005 World Cup.
Toss will be very crucial in the finals, as scoreboard pressure will play a big role in a big final.
So, very aptly Virat Kohli took to his Instagram account and had a message for Mithali Raj and the Indian cricket team where he said, “Just want to wish them all the best for tomorrow. It has been great to see the way you (Mithali Raj) have guided this team throughout the world cup, we have been watching very keenly. It is inspiring and commendable to see the belief. I have always enjoyed to see you play. You all have brought a lot of glory to the nation over the years. All the players have played well in this tournament.”
