The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on September 7 announced the fixture of the Indian cricket team against New Zealand. According to the schedule released by the BCCI, Virat Kohli-led Team India will play three One-Day Internationals and as many Twenty20 Internationals against New Zealand. The home series will start on October 22.

Virat Kohli & Co are high on confidence as they recently whitewashed Sri Lanka at their home. In over a month long tour, Team India thumped the hosts 5-0 in the five-match ODIs outclassing them in all departments of the game. Prior to the 50-over format, India registered a whitewash in the three-match Test series. Moreover, Team India also managed to outclass Sri Lankans in the shortest format of the game.

The series against New Zealand will begin with the two warm-up matches on October 17 and October 19 in Mumbai.
