History made: Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka to win their 100th Test by 5 wickets

Bangladesh became the fourth team in the history of cricket to win their 100th Test after Australia, Pakistan and West Indies

Bangladesh won the second Test match against Sri Lanka by 5 wickets at Colombo and the win tasted even sweeter for Tigers as history was created with this win. With winning this match, Bangladesh also won their 100th Test and registered their name in the record books.

Bangladesh became the fourth team in the history of cricket to win their 100th Test after Australia, Pakistan and West Indies. This is the first time that Bangladesh has beaten Sri Lanka in Test cricket.

Bangladesh got the target of 191 runs on the final day of the test match and managed to achieve it with the help of magnificent innings of 82 runs played by Tamim Iqbal.

They were recently in India where they played well but ended up on the losing side. Shakib was the pick of their bowlers in the second innings picking up four wickets apart from getting a blitzkrieg hundred in the first innings.
