Meanwhile, SRK’s management team has been in touch with Cricket South Africa (CSA) to buy a team. However, Shah Rukh has shown interest in Johannesburg and Cape Town. It has also been reported that SRK’s representatives have visited South Africa to discuss the matter with CSA chief executive Haroon Lorgat.

According to the reports, the payment schemes have been divided into different tiers. Tier 1 city, including Johannesburg and Cape Town, will be offered $ 50 million per year over a period of 10 years while Tier two cities will be offered $ 30 million per year.

On the other hand, CSA also wants to put the brand value of Shah Rukh Khan to use after observing his fan following in India and their country. Moreover, a huge number of people in Johannesburg follow the King of Bollywood and hence the CSA management has thought to include the Indian Superstar in the forthcoming league so as to start the tournament on a larger level.
