Watch: When a Delhi girl knocked down Akshay Kumar like a pro

Akshay Kumar, who is also known as the Khiladi of Bollywood, recently got the taste of his own medicine by a Delhi girl. Yes, you heard that right! The actor was in the capital to promote his upcoming film Naam Shabana in which Taapsee Pannu plays the lead role and Akshay is in an extended cameo.

Taapsee and Akshay were promoting their film in Delhi University’s Gargi College, where the duo was busy teaching girls some self-defense moves for their safety. It was when Akshay asked a girl present on stage to demonstrate a self-defense move and little did he know, she just knocked him down like a pro.

The video of the same was shared by the actor on his Twitter account with the caption: Here’s some #MondayMotivation courtesy team #NaamShabana! #GirlPower all the way. After watching the video, we can surely say that at least this Delhi girl is way more prepared when it comes to self-defense.

Earlier Akshay also shared a video in which Taapsee Pannu showed how to protect oneself in such situations and the actor also joined her to teach the ‘Kohni Maar’ self-defense move. Akshay Kumar is one of those Bollywood actors who have time and again encouraged women to learn martial arts for their safety.

Directed by Shivam Nair and written by Neeraj Pandey, Naam Shabana is a prequel of 2015 hit Baby. The film is a spy thriller and tells a  compelling story of a counter-intelligence unit out to disrupt a terrorist mastermind ready to strike India.

Apart from Taapsee and Akshay, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Eli Avram in prominent roles. Naam Shabana is slated to hit the screens on March 31 this year.
