Watch: Akshay Kumar steals limelight in the second trailer of Taapsee Pannu's Naam Shabana

Though the trailer of Taapsee's Naam Shabana lacks high-octane action sequences, it still keeps the audience interest intact throughout the 2-minute video

The second trailer of Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Naam Shabana is here and it looks super amazing. Unlike the first trailer, this one gives us a closer look into the journey of Shabana and her rigorous training sessions to be the best of the best.

Directed by Shivam Nair and written by Neeraj Pandey, Naam Shabana is a spy thriller which is a prequel of 2015 hit film Baby. While Akshay Kumar plays a very small role in the film, he completely stole the limelight in the second trailer.

Despite his cameo in the film, it seems like the new trailer of the film only belongs to Akshay Kumar. And this seems like a deliberate attempt. In the first trailer, Akshay was seen uttering: Itni Dur Se Aya Hun, Kuch Toh Karne Do. And turns out he is doing a lot in Naam Shabana, as the new trailer shows.

Dialogues of Naam Shabana are catchy and have a satirical tone to them. Though the trailer lacks high-octane action sequences, it still keeps the audience interest intact throughout the 2-minute video. But keeping all this aside, it won’t be wrong to say that Taapsee Pannu is among one of those actresses who doesn’t need any hero to carry a movie.

Apart from Taapsee, the film also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Eli Avram in prominent roles. After two of his Bollywood films Aiyya and Aurangzeb failed miserably at the box office, South actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is back with a bang in Naam Shabana and will be seen in a negative role.

The movie is slated to hit the screens on March 31 this year.
