Virat Kohli invites Aamir Khan to watch India vs Australia 3rd T20I at Hyderabad

Virat Kohli & Co will be hoping for a perfect climax in the decider match of the T20I series held at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

India are to play Australia in the decider of the three-match T20I series. Virat Kohli recently gave an interview with Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, excerpts of which were released and soon grabbed the headlines. It seems that Kohli has grown fond of Aamir’s friendship and returned his gratitude by inviting Bollywood’s perfectionist to watch the final of the T20I series to be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Aamir and Kohli came together for a popular talk show which is scheduled to be aired on Diwali, October 19.

“When Virat invited Aamir to the match, he instantly included it in his schedule. He will be seen attending it with Zaira Wasim. Aamir will meet the team before the match. He is also carrying his blue jersey that Virat gifted him,” said a source as per reports in NDTV Sports.

“They bonded big time. Virat is usually media-shy, but he fed off Aamir’s energy on the show. Both of them were at their candid best,” the source concluded.

Aamir might be seen wearing the Indian jersey which Kohli gifted him when the actor showed him the trailer of his upcoming film, Secret Superstar. The previous cricket match that Aamir watched was the ICC World Cup 2011 final between India and Sri Lanka at Wankhede Stadium.

The Indian skipper Kohli and Australian skipper Warner have gone up against each other in this stadium while playing for their respective IPL teams. It won’t be surprising if the crowd cheers for Warner as he heads the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the IPL. Although the cheers will be even louder if Ashish Nehra plays in the match. Nehra recently announced the date of his retirement and the Hyderabad crowd would love to get a glimpse of his left-arm fast bowling brilliance.

The three-match series currently stands at 1-1 as both the teams have won a match each. India won the first match of the series by 9 wickets at Ranchi via D/L method. In the second match played a Guwahati, the visitors bounced back and thrashed the Indians by 8 wickets.
