Last time India toured the African nation in 2013/14, they were beaten 1-0 in the two-match Test series. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli showed his reluctance over the South Africa itinerary, complaining that BCCI should also look at the schedule to permit its players’ adequate rest. It seems he has found support on this after former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly backed Kohli over this.

India inUth.com Predicted Squad:

Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (Capt.), Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha (WK), Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya

inUth feels, no major surprises are on the cards, but Kuldeep Yadav could board the Africa-bound flight because he is a wrist spinner and can turn the ball on any given pitch. India will also opt for a reserve opener, considering it is an away tour. KL Rahul can also double up as a wicketkeeper which will help in case Saha picks up a niggle.
