How Indian Army unleashed its first surgical strike on Pak terror pads

The army personnel were para-dropped and the strikes were carried out within 500 metres to two kilometres across the LoC.

The Indian Army’s special forces destroyed seven terror launch pads in the Pakistani territory across the Line of Control, sources in the Army told ANI.

The army personnel were para-dropped from two choppers and the strikes were carried out within 500 metres to two kilometres across the LoC, the sources added further.

The entire surgical strike lasted from 12.30 am to 4 am.

The strikes were conducted after a week-long surveillance, sources told NDTV.

“Our two soldiers died and nine got injured,”Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said.

However, the Pakistani armed forces continue to deny the claims of surgical strike by the Indian Army.
