BAFTA 2017 Nominations: After sweeping the Golden Globes, will La La Land shine again?

Much like the recent Golden Globes, La La Land tops the list with the most number of nominations at 11.

The nominations list for the 70th British Academy Film Awards has been released. The BAFTA 2017 awards ceremony will be held on February 12 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The awards honour the best of British and international contributions (film) to the entertainment industry.

Much like the recent Golden Globes, La La Land tops the list with the most number of nominations at 11. The Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling starrer was a huge hit at the Golden Globes and bagged seven prizes, creating a record win. Hopefully, the BAFTAs will give other acclaimed films like Manchester by the Sea, Jackie and Moonlight to win their share of awards.
