In a possible incident of hate crime at Southern Colorado, Indian man's house was vandalized with dog poop, racial messages and eggs.

In a possible incident of hate crime, Indian man’s house was vandalized with dog poop, racial messages and eggs at Southern Colorado. The inciden took place on February 6 and an investigation is being conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Speaking about the horrific incident, the house owner said, “around 50 papers were stuck everywhere on his door, window and car. An unidentified group had also thrown at least like 40 eggs on his house.”He further said that racial comments were also written outside the house. He said, slurs like ‘You brown or Indian shouldn’t be here,’ was also written outside the house.

Earlier, 32-year-old, Srinivas Kuchibhotla, an engineer hailing from India, working at the Garmin headquarters in Olathe, was killed in the shooting, another Indian and his colleague Alok Madasani was critically injured and is battling for life at a local hospital. A man identified as Ian Grillot was also injured in the shooting.

Showing their protest against this, numerous people gathered in Kansas City and conducted a peaceful candle march and prayer vigil to celebrate his life. This march was also attended by the friends of Srinivas while the other Indian who sustained injuries, Alok Madasani, in that attack was also present on his crutches. The priests from various religions conducted the prayer at the Hindu Temple in the city.
