PIA plane that went missing, has crashed

The plane has lost connection with the Air traffic this afternoon.

A Pakistan International Airlines passenger plane carrying 45 people on board has crashed near near Pipplian which is a suburban village of Havelian on Wednesday.

The plane had gone missing near Abbottabad earlier today. However, the number of casualties has not been ascertained as yet.

According to local media reports, the PIA plane was flying from Chitral and was on its way to Islamabad. The flight PK661  took off around 3:00am and went off radar around 4:20pm.

The security forces have also launched a massive rescue operation.
